Welcome! My name is Emily Carol. I've been drawing since I was a youngin'. I've always been drawn to fantastic realism, the macabre, the morbid, the unsettling, the colorful, the dark, etc... I took two art classes (junior high art and high school ceramics), but it's been a mostly self-guided journey, and I still have so much to learn.

I've luckily always had support from my family and friends, and my boyfriend has been particularly monumental in my becoming both more focused and inspired in my creativity!

I've done art for personal projects and was on the art team for an anime convention for a few years, however I never pursued much else, although I never stopped drawing and painting and have a surplus of filled sketchbooks stacked up.

About a year ago I began work at a shop, and my manager encouraged my painting (for personal projects and for store decorations). It refueled a passion I'd been for too long neglecting: creating artwork and sharing it. Now I am determined to put my art out there, collaborate, and open up commissions.

I'm currently working at getting my website organized. I'm also making prints, and I hope to put some pieces up for sale online. Thank you for visiting and for your patience with me in this exciting journey.
